Soma seeds....

Thinking of ordering some of soma's gear for the grow after next. Anybody have reccomendations? I remember that lots of people were growing his stuff back on OG with good results, but I don't really see anyone getting it anymore.

It seems Amnesia Haze is a favorite of many, kinda pricey ,but it sounds worth it to me.

If you get the right pheno Afghan delight can be really nice. I wish he just sold the afghan and the afghan x hawaiian in their pure form without all of the polyhybrid mess. I wasn't a big fan of A+ I was really disappointed. Before they changed their name to Soma Seeds when they were selling seeds as Seeds Of Courage I grew free tibet and somaskunks #1 #5 and #9. They were pretty good. I kept those seedlines going for a while. They were really nice when I had them but now you can find better. I crossed a flo to the soma skunk 9 and it created the nicest tasting hybrid I've ever smoked. It didn't taste anything like either parent and the smell and taste were 10X stronger.

I don't like polyhybrids so I've never grown any Soma gear, but I met the man at the 04 cup and smoked some of his NYCD, Lavender and Amnesia Haze with him, they were all top-notch, how well those samples represented the seedlines I have no idea, but it is said by many that his strains aren't stabilised and have many pheno possibilities, the best phenos can be awesome, but you might not find them in a pack. Rock Bud is a great example, the pic used to adertise them shows the really stocky, dense pheno with red leaves, this pheno is killer, but often not found in a pack. I tend to think Soma bases his sales on the best phenos, he talks about those, I just think he should have spent the last 10 years since he released his current lines doing some stabilisation for those killer phenos, instead all he's done is cross everything to a G13Haze male.

The best Soma grows I;ve seen have been of cuts of the killer phenos, if those phenos were more common and you could be sure to find them in one pack I;ve give them a try, Lavender is supposed to be a very good smoke.

sometime back i was crawling these forums searching for soma info and i came across this old article from when soma was interviewed a while back before he went overseas, and he made a reference to how he uses herm plants to get his seeds...he said he looks for the fem with the best traits and then gets seeds from it, making it give almost all fem seeds. this is maybe why there is such a high incidence with herms and soma seeds. i guess i will find out in about 4 weeks...

i have grown nycd and g13haze x nycd also smoked lavender buda's sister amnesia haze and they were all excellent strains

i agree with british.. i can;t lie he not the only one to grow organic but him and sub are about even when it goes to seeds with organic's beds. i would jump on that before the dark corner become non existant. *as far as seed prices goes

Zamilito yor not the only one with a hawiian afgani pure line as well. *meant your not the only one thinking that way. i'm a bit tired but i can't help but write away one a subject i would like to talk about.

as far as plyploids go there pretty much all ployploids so enjoy what u can cause there's the next big cut hit the rounds and everyone want in. so what to do??? get the what's available in seed for and make f2's is your best shot. strong, vigorous, stinky icey... you won't regret it. enjoy the bountifull harvest and stay safe, bravo
