good daytime smoke that has a strong sativa in it with an indica that creeps up as the high continues on. The quality of the nugs was very high, lots of frost, high calyx to leaf ratio, great smell, strong flavor.

High was quick to come on with a mild sativa buzz, but that builds up over the next five minutes to a stronger sat but it doesnt really cause a soaring euphoric feeling. after about 30 minutes the indica part kicks in, smoke enough of it and you can get lost in your living room. Doesnt have enough indica to put me to sleep, but if i had to take a nap i could sleep after smoking it, meaning the sativa isnt too overpowering. It is might make people forget too much to be used to daytime smoke, but I have a slightly higher tolerance than most and this fits the bill well for me.

Smell is fantastic, very strong pungent odor, smells like sweet nightmare and pineapple diesel mixed together. I like the strong spicey pineapple in it, but it isnt so strong that it smells too sweet. The spice is very strong and reminds of a hazy c99.

the taste is very much like the smell but it doesnt carry over too much of the fruit component. Reminds me much of lambsbread and sweetnightmare in the flavor department, musky and strong, very heavy smoke. The smoke is thick and sticks to you for a while. The smell of the smoke is a lot like blue dream.

The texture of this bud was great, large nugs with lots of calyx, the way i like it. Could of had some fan leaves removed but they were so frosty you could break em up and id rather smoke that then half the stuff in some other dispensaries mid grade product line.

Comment: top notch look to it, looks like it was properly grown, stored and cured. Id give her a ten but she had some fan leaf on my nug, granted it was one large nug for an 1/8th.

Comment: Hard to imagine herb being frostier than this. on the inside, outside and fan leaf stem are covered in frost from stem to tip. large milky white heads with a ton of non glandular trichs too

Comment: Perfect, texture is fantastic, breaks up very nice, i liked my chocolate diesel as my favorite texture herb because it invites you to break up more than needed, this stuff is a close second to that, just a touch denser than the chocoD. similar high calyx to leaf ratio too.

Comment: Amazingly strong stink, smells very spicey and has a strong rotten tropical pineapple smell but isnt overly sweet at all and doesnt have any floral component to it which makes it stand out from all the other spicey fruity ones. Smells like the sweet funk of sweet nightmare crossed with the musk of lambsbread and the fruity sweetness from pineapple D all rolled into one, hard to not like this one.

Nice report. I was actually thinking of making the 400 mile trip to get this because someone else said the high on this was bordering on psychedelic. Guess it was just him.

Could you recommend a dispensary med with trippy properties? I love strains that have the intense, throbbing head high coupled with wavy, hazy visuals-great for my depression since it makes me focus on something else besides my problems. Something like a strong Amsterdam haze. Most of the sativas I purchased from a med club are mild in comparison and too clear with no visuals. I'm south of L.A., but am willing to drive as far as the Bay Area to get a great, trippy sativa.

I read the same report as you i believe. This is the reason I purchased it, the budtender didnt even recommend it, but I said what the heck ill give it a try. It aint bad, the first time i smoked it i felt that I was going to white out for a second, but that was because I got up too fast after smoking I believe.

I doubt you will find something at a dispensary that has those qualities, most are looking to sell stuff that tastes good and has a short duration high to keep ya coming back. Look into some asian genetics if ya can, or even a malawi might fit the bill for you, gonna be tough to find that at a dispensary without trading your first born for it.

Hey Sauron, you are one of only a few who I know that have smoked the sweet nightmare. I know it goes out at a few clubs in SF. Anyways I have a cut of it that ive been running for a few. I cant wait to make crosses of it, i cant get the girl to throw a banana! I figure her to be close to a landrace , maybe one cross off of it. If i didnt smoke, and I walked into the room after the SN was smoked damn I sure would after , i wish there was an incense with that smell!

Yeah the sweet nightmare is a good indica smoke, ive seen it coming out of the bay for years, though im fairly sure it isnt from landrace cultivar, i would say its a fairly well worked hybrid. agree with you 100% about the smell, fantastic taste and aroma come with this strain quite often.

Nightmare = Indica? Have you grown one out yet? Because I know that Nigerian Nightmare is Sativa/Indica: 50/50, but thats from Reeferman. This one i believe has been crossed. Either way a very nice smoke.. but wait.. this is SN's smoke report! haha sorry for the hijack!

i have a few jars from the 3rd floor from years ago, two say indica in blue down the sides of the jar, i do remember seeing one that said hybrid though. The bud is not typical indica or sativa looking, it had more of a look like the solanum does, but it was a bit lighter and easier to break down, from every source ive seen it from at least.

I wonder if the nigerian in rm's is the sat? if it is 50/50 and the nightmare is sat, then the nigerian must be the indica i would believe? I just have a hard time seeing the clubs selling a near landrace sativa grown out perfectly as one mentioned for $50 8th and their other higher yielding sats for even more? I understand they charge as they pay, but i cant see a grower selling an 11wk strain for as low as a 8 week strain goes either.

No hijack at all bro, im all about gettin the real deal and if its not the real deal i want to know, check the bull rider thread, some folks disagree but i always say its a sample from a disp and im an honest guy i just buy it tell ya where its at and give an honest review of it imo, and sometimes i include another persons smoke report along with it if possible - but most often i find the vast majority of smokers have similiar experiences with the strains i review.

Nigerian Nightmare

Awesome early outdoor plants with super frost production, nice chunky nugs with some strong dry skunky aromas with mango carrot and manderin orange undertones. A crowd pleaser with a happy euphoric high. Good mold resistance. Compact plants,very photoperiod sensitive. If vegged under 18 or 24 hours from seed or clone they can be put outside and will start flowering quickly.. We recommend veg in at least 1 gallon pots to about 3 feet or more tall if starting indoors. Multiple crop potential outdoors in the summer.

that looks very similar to it, i always bought quarters of it and they would come with two nugs often that were about that size in that pic, but that looks a little bit denser and the calyx on the sweet nightmare were larger.

I have seen a few people call it weak, and i know a lot of people feel sweet tooth to be lower potency than many current elites. who knows?

Hi Sauron,

I purchased some Solanum at C.A.R.E. (by the Oakland PD). It had a very pleasing high and bag appeal, but the aroma drove me absolutely wild! There was a terrific spiciness (frankincense-like) mixed with a decent dose of dried tropical fruit.
