soil/nutrient ?

okay, I'm having some major issues with nitrogen burn here. Using 1 liter pots mix is compost, peat, glacial gravel, guano(nitrogen and phosphorus, greensand, perlite. About a week and a half ago had phosphorus lockout from too much nitrogen, flushed w/ 3x amt. Of soil, today a week after the flush, tested soil, still too much nitrogen. My nitrogen burn happened at the worst time, transition to flower, it was preventing it, after flush they started, potash, and phosphorus levels are great. My question is what should I do about all this nitrogen? Continue with just water and molasses feeding hoping the nitrogen washes out or should I flush again, don't want to cuz they're flowering, but need to fix this problem for these ladies. Next time I'll def test soil before planting.

Okay, well went to square one and tested the base of the mix, I should have done that before. Anyway the bagged compost I'm using has a through the roof nitrogen rating. I really shouldn't have added any nitrogen to begin with. All that being said what would be some good ways to bring that nitrogen down? Use less of it in my base mix? Flush out the nitrogen and wash the phosphorus and potassium out, then feed with that? Or start over with a new base? Btw these questions more relate to the next run. Also thanks to any and all who give advice or look at this.

sounds like you figured out your problem. just let the ladies run there course in flower i guess. nitrogen will eventually runout, just decrease the ammount of compost next time around.
