Soil/Nutes help

Well i had everything planned for my grow but i just realized that no place near my house sells fox farm ocean soil!

Ive been reading about other soils like ProMix but ive heard their low in NPK unlike fox farm ocean soil is.


My setup is going to be a pc grow. im going to be doing 12/12 from seed.

You don't need to do soil, and you don't need to do fox farms. Any organic potting soil from your local plant nursery will suffice. In reality many people experience issues with fox farms ocean forest.

ProMix is a hydro medium, so there isn't anything in it at all. If you want, you can condition your mix with worm castings, blood meal, bone meal, green sand, dolomite lime and a number of other things. Avoid slow release fertilizers.

if you are having a tuff time finding stuff. just get promix and some worm castings. i have been told you can get them at walmart. this would be good enough for what you are doing.
