Soil Mix what else

I have two bales of pro mix and a large bag of bone meal and blood meal. I also plan on picking up some dolomite lime. My question is what else do i need to add to the soil, i am growing mandala genetics and they say they dont like too much feeding so i was planning on not feeding much during veg and im not sure what to feed during flowring. I have a bottle of fish emulsion 2-4-1 would this be ne good?

you can get a bag of perlite and mix it it with your other stuff. i would say at least 30% perlite. you can also add worm castings to your mix, great all around fert. as far as feeding goes, i'm not so sure on how to accommodate you. were you looking to make your own feed? check around in this forum and you will probably find what you need that best suits your grow. what mandala genetics did you get? i just ordered some mandala #1 along with some other beans. good luck!

If you're having trouble locating soil amendments and you just want to keep it simple and run as lean as possible, I think you could get by on what you have already with the addition of kelp meal (or another good source of trace elements).

I would then advise you to see if you can locate either a bag of quality compost and/or worm castings.

If it were me though, I'd be certain to get some kelp meal in there. Be careful with that bone meal... great stuff but easy to over-do it.

thanks, i ordered all the indica's (Hashberry,sadhu,speed queen) im so pumped about them i hope they turn out its only my second grow but i have read more books and forums than anyone i know. lol my gf thinks im crazy lol. neways so i know my stuff and i think this time around i will go with LST and throw them under 1000hps and 2x400mh. about 65 watts per sq ft. Im in search of some good mums. Oh yeah and im using 5 gal pots. Im not adverse to buying a fertlizer if its as good as the tea's i would prob rather buy (just so i know that everything the plant needs is there and because its easy) but im thinking about making teas, but bat guano is hard to find here.

neways hopes this gives you enough info to help me figure it out and also how long do ahead of time do i need to mix my soil.

also ne ideas what to use instead of earthworm casting cant find them at my local nursery and thats where i feel safe. mushroom compost maybe? same prob with the kelp meal.
