What is the correct soil ph & mix for growing outside. I applied chicken manure (average 25oz. over 40 sq. ft.) to the soil w/ a compost last autumn than put a leaf cover over the winter. I plan to grow several hybrid plants this spring. I am thinking my soil may be too sour and should put some limestone on it. What do you think? Is there a great mix that will do it all?
