Soil composition for mothers?

I am going to grow some mothers in soil. I have potting soil, coco coir and perlite.

What should I or shouldn't I use with what I currently have? The mothers will be grown in clay pots under CFL's in a cabinet.

What ratios do you recommend for growing medium composition?

I will be fertilizing with FoxFarm Grow Big and I have Hygrozyme, if that has any impact on your answer.

Oh, I also have Hydroton, if you think that would be of any value.

I use 40 percent potting soil, 40 percent peat moss and 20 percent perlite with 2 tbs powdered dolomite lime per gallon of soil. Be careful with the size pot you use so the mother doesn't get to large.....

Well...I have 4-inch pots and 12-inch pots (the 12-inch pots hold about 1 gallon). which size pots do you recommend? Should I use your ratio and get some dolomite lime for use in the composition, too?

I only need 2-6 clones every 90 days.

I have mine in 10 inch pots and they stay with 2 foot.

You can use what I listed or you could scrap the peat if you wanted. Just be sure to use the perlite and the powdered dolomite lime.....
