SOG in quart pots?

Would a quart pot (4 inch) suffice to flower in?
If need be, I can use taller pots (most likely 2 L bottles) instaed because I have only 18 inches width to work with...

I want to do an SOG where I do 6 plants in these quart pots for 20-30 days, then put the next 6 plants in, wait for the first 6 to finish and add 6 more, etc...
I'd like to get a nice little perpetual grow going because I can't keep clones for long because of height issues in my veg room.

The more root mass the bigger the bud. Generally speaking. I've gotten a 5"x5"x5" pot that holds almost a gallon to give off about a half ounce per plant under a foot tall. Look at Dubphiends grows for ideas too.

I have tried using 3 gallon pots (I can fit two in my grow room) but I think I'd be better off with SOG. The yeild was too low in the scrog with the big pots, so I think it's time for a different approach.

Would it be better to put 6 plants in a big rubbermaid tub instead of 6 seperate little pots?

You know, thats not a bad idea - Soma style gardening bed even! You'd still get the benefit of more plants, but they would benefit from more room to stretch their roots... It would be easier to water as well! Just make sure they get good air circulation.

Please let us know how it turns out!

An idea - one can fit more root area in a growspace by using square pots.

But if height is the limiting factor, strain choice seems like your most important decision.
