SOG in a 8x4' area

I want to do a SOG in a 8x4' area with 1.8Kw HPS. How many plants do you recommend I put in there and what size pots should I use?

Thats exactly half the size of my flower room,I would flower approx 20 plants in 2 gal pots

Shit, Someone else told me 72 plants. I bought 40 6" pots. I was told to Veg for 2 weeks (turn them at 8" for 16" finish) is this to many ya think Skello?.

It says to use 1 plant per sqaure foot. 8 x 4=32 plants?

yeh i think 35ish as long as you flower after about 2 weeks. youl have to start about 80 to get that amount of females though, or just go with feminised seeds.

Hi Page, I've got 50 clones on the go, which came from female mother plants.

My clones are much larger than your normal SOG,I grow insoil so I wouldnt even try to get 4 per sq ft.I normally get 1 1/2 ounces off these blockhead clones.The 2 gal pots are actually smaller than 2 gal too,they are NSI "classic 600s"

I'd use 1 gal. grow bags , de3pending how long ya veg. remember sog is growing large amounts of plants in a small area. the grow bags are really cheap and can be reused.
I would figure 4 plants per sq ft. and flip to 12/12 when plants get 10-12" tall with trimming the plants 1 week before 12/12 and again after 1 week of flowering, but no more than 7 days after flowering started, trim all the way to the top 3 nodes, the idea is to get 1 long cola from each plant. Im usinng 2- 600 hps in a 3'x5' ares.
the grow bags are like 10 cents each.
