So you want to build your own LED panel...

If you have been keeping up with the LED lab 2009 (http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=108442) then you know that shit can get a little too technical for some people in there. I, along with a few other members, have expressed interest in learning how to actually build my own custom LED panel, but such information can be a bit tricky to find. Someone else said that if I started the thread, they would contribute, so here we go. Lets see if we can compile a guide on how to do this - I will be happy to edit all the juicy bits into this first message so hopefully many can benefit from this for a long time - as we all know LED's are THE future of growing ;)

So, Knna, Weezard, Billyjojimbo, asa77soul, lay some knowledge on us.... pretty pretty please?

This is what you are looking for, Though it is not for a beginner. The system here is that of a lab and what NASA uses on it's missions , this is using all the latest L.E.D driver technology here are the schematics and instructions just read the whole deal. This was published i think 2005 but the technology ought to be more available and affordable by now.The great thing about this one is that it able to be tuned or dialed in.

I will try to get a basic electronics tutorial up so people can learn how circuits work, and stuff like the difference between amps/watts/volts. I want to have a complete guide.
