this plant is on Day 15 from germing. Its quite apparent that its stunted as shit, for reasons unknown to me.
I'm using a LOT of CFL's (6500k), ProMix BX (added perlite, peat, and EWC).
Light Cycle: 24/0
Temps: 73-78
Humidity: 50-60
Watering:plain distilled H20, every few days when soil appears dried.
Whats up with the drooping and this crazy shit on the leaf?

hmm.. nah, i don't have either at the moment. But i do have a fish tank, freshwater, with LOTS of fish waste at the bottom. All the fish in the tank are from a pond near my house, so i dont try to keep it "crystal clear" for fear of taking too much natural elements from it.
Soo... if i took.. say.. a turkey baster, and sucked up some of the waste/water at the bottom of the tank, would this have any similar benefits to actual fish emulsion??

Fish emulsion is a fertilizer emulsion that is produced from the fluid remains of fish processed for fish oil and fish meal industrially.

Liquid seaweed is pretty good, helps plants withstand enviromental stress, pest and disease attack as well as stimulates vigorous healthy growth.

I'm absolutely thrilled that my completely practical inquiry was so amusing to you, Dyno.
So. Now that you've defined fish emulsion..
Fish emulision = Fish by-product.
Fish tank waste = Fish by-product.
Hence, why i asked if there were any remotely similar beneficial compounds in each..
Hilarious!!

Feeding your plant the tank water should be fine as long as you haven't used aquarium salt or any medication in it. Ye fish tank waste is more than just fish by product and emulsion is more than just fish poop. Sorry was really high and found it quite funny at the time. :bigeye:

I think you're overwatering...go 4 days between watering and see what happens...the top will always look really dry while the dirt below is really wet. Are there drainage holes?

I made my mix Very airy.
Mix:
1- 3cu.ft. Pro-Mix Bx
1- entire bag of perlite. (dont remember the size, but its the "standard" sized bag that i've seen.
shit load of vermiculite
good amount of peat
*Drainage: As you can see, they are in party cups. I took a thumbtack and poked holes in the bottom of the cups until i had run out of places to poke.
Did the same for the lip around the side of the cups at the bottom.

so the drainage holes are pinhole sized???

that could be the issue......even if the top of the soil is draining and drying out you may be encountering water standing at the bottom of the cup.

consider making the holes at least the diameter of a #2 pencil.

1/4" 1/2" holes should be sufficient.

let your soil dry out entirely. water till you see run off and give it about 12 hours to soak up the water and hopefully you'll see some new, happy, green growth.
