so who makes the best hood?

Alot of searching but no solid answer, what is the best non air cooled hood on the market? reflectivity, coverage etc?. silverstars look great but i dont want aircooled

i dont want to play around with diy hoods, i want something made for heavy commerical use.

Ya don't want to play around with DIY eh...hellz, I'd be happy to tack on a 500% mark up on extremely affordable material and the 10 minutes it takes to fabricate.
What the heck is heavy duty anyway? Ya planning on doubling it as a lid for a barbeque grill?

I know you've repeatedly mentioned now that you don't want aircooled but if this is the only reason then you should reconsider. You could just make the aircooled passage completely sealed from the rest of the room thereby maintaing the sealed room aspect and allowing for air cooling which will mean you need less a/c which uses precious wattage.
