I've been spending a night outside my flat and at about 6am I've been woken up by my mobile phone ringing and it was my gsm fire alarm calling, the possibility of such shit was bugging me since I started this grow about two months ago. Completely freaked out I ran to my house (luckily it was only 5 min distance) and saw that a goddamn fan blowing at bulb blazed up (although everything was in smoke there was a little damage), so I took a a bucket with water and extinguished everything. The fan was hanging upside down so that may be a culprit. Or maybe just crappy quality.

The plant (one month 12\12 blueberry girl) somehow wasn't burned except for a few side leaves hit by molten plastic. There are a lot of pistils with a black marks on them, I think it's just ash, but who knows. Also quite a few some pistils turned brown, although I have the issue of pistils browning from the tipsfor a while now it appears there is some browning at the bottom.

So should it survive? Is there anything I can do? The second picture is everything that remained of the main body of hellish device :badday:

Dude you are sooooooooo lucky that your flat did not burn to the ground ;)

Let her finish and then evaluate....maybe you trim off any obvious burn marks...

man thats a bummer, and scary too! i had a similar situation with a $10 fan from walmart. now i only run vortex fans. i have been using the same fan for about a year now and havent had a problem yet. as for the plant, my only advice is to continue your regular feeding schedule and wait it out and see what happens. good luck bro and stay safe!
