So is the consensus on the dangers of occasionally ordering seeds and having them shipped to you considered pretty low???

From reading here and other sites the worst I have heard of was they find your sends and take them(and probably grow them there self) and send you a little card with a note saying seeds is a No No...

Not talking large amounts of seeds.. Talking orders of 100 or less like maybe once or twice a year..

And talking to the US...

That and maybe losing a couple hundred bucks on seeds.

I've ordered seeds 4-5 times now over the past few years. All small orders, 20-30 seeds. I've had them sent to my home, which is also where I grow. However, I always ordered the seeds over the summer, which is when I'm not growing (too hot). In other words, I have them delivered to my house, but not while I have a grow going. So if LEO did show up at my door with my seed order, they's only find an empty cabinet and some dried buds. I don't know if this is good or bad, just what I've done and had no problems.

Best time to order ( when I do) is Xmas/holiday season. Not saying it is safe or perfect but think of the volume USPS and other shippers have to deal with. Just my opinion. 1X a year and thats it. NO probs.

That's the worst time to order. Most of the orders that get lost are XMAS orders. Plus the delivery time is horrible during that time 4-6 weeks. I never order from Nov-Dec.. Even in Jan there back log from there Xmas shutdown takes a few weeks to get things back rolling like normal again.

Its not the bay or Bou fault for those delays. They have to use the mail just like we do..

It's impossible to say. I personally chose to take the risk. But to say the risk is low is impossible. Even a cop couldn't answer you. It depends on the department.

In other words, a cursary view of any newspaper anywhere will reveil how rarely cops can build an honest case. You'll hear some bullshit about how so and so started an investigation based on late night traffic, etc. Obvious lies; the cops started their investigation based on evidence they won't tell you about, nor how they obtained it.

It could very well be that a huge number of busts stemmed from cops intercepting seed orders, allowing the order through, and following up three months later.

Doubtful, but who the fuck am I to say it's not happening regularly all across the US? You just don't know.

I can't tell you how many court records I've searched where the informant was a hydro store order, but for years many members on weed growing sites literally loled at the "paranoia" surrounding the placement of hps bulb orders and the like.

Doing illegal shit sucks. It's all a gamble.
