So I took my drug test today.

Well I got offered a job and one of the conditions were to take a piss test. Well I had a home test that I have been saving for some time now and took it. It came up positive, but I havent smoked in like 2 1/2 months seriously its been that long. Now I have been around people recently that did smoke and I would put my shirt over my nose Cause I knew that I had to take a piss test soon and didnt want to catch a contact high or inhale any smoke.

Well Since I failed my home test I got my detox stuff that I had also been saving and took the 1oz fruitpunch flavored liquid and also the 4 pills that came with it. I immediately began drinking lots of water and other drinks too to kind of give my urine a color to it so it wouldnt look diluted. I was under the impression that I would know right then and there if I would pass or fail due to me going to the same clinic before For another job and they told me on the spot if I passed or failed.

Well I had a hour to get to the place from the time when I took my home test and I continued to drink fluids till I thought I was going to puke. I felt so damn bloated and thought my stomach was going to explode.

I even read on another forum that drinking a half of a cup of white vinegar would clean you out, Bullshit I though but tried it anyway.

Got to the doctors office and took my test and she sealed it up in a envelope and told me it would be mailed off. Shit, is what i was thinking! So after the physical and all the hearing test and shit I went immediately to Wal-Mart and purchased another test and went to there bathroom to take it. It came up Negative in about 1-2 minutes(so this means that I passed the test That I had just bought). So Im hoping that the cleansing Stuff I bought and maybe the vinegar helped. I guess I will find out if they still want to hire me in a couple of days. Wish me luck guys!

I once landed a decent job and then the guy said "ok well just come on down and fill out the paperwork and take a drug test." I don't want to work anywhere that drug tests.

Well I would prefer not to work were they drug test but its either that or no work. I need a job bad. Been out of work since may 07.

Yeah I still have to find out. If so most places around here test randomly every other month so it gives you a couple of weeks to smoke.

My buddy lost a job for failing a pee test, went and got soem shit in a bottle, that turned his piss green, still ended up positive

I don't really care if it looks incriminating or not; I show up to work on time and perform my specified duties to the best of my ability until it is time to leave, so who's business is it what I do when I'm at home?

I'm thankful I work in the creative field, where such activities aren't as looked down upon...

So today a friend of mine called and told me that this company called him to ask about me. See I put him down on the application as my last boss and they follwed up asking questions like would you hire him again and all this crap. Anyway Its a company that does background checks for the company Im possibly going to be getting a job at.

My wife says that they wouldnt be doing the background check if I had failed the drug test. I sure hope thats the case. Im ready to start working and also start smoking. Someone told me today that this company only drug test you if they suspect something is up or if you get injured on the job. Will find out though for sure soon enough.

congratulations on your new job

it cost them a couple hundred bucks to hire you and do all the tests and checks, they are not going to spend that on you again unless you show up smelling like weed or fall asleep on the job.

i get better weed at my job (that i had to drug test for) than i could have elsewhere... a couple coworkers even grow...

yea, unless you drive for a living or operate heavy machinery on a regular basis at you job, once you get past the inititial piss test your clear, alot of places say in the initial contract that they have the right to do random tests, but the never ever do unless there is a work place accident and they are trying to pin the blame on somebody to keep their insurance premiums from going up

The place I would be working at uses alot of machines, oh hell..... The company is called Graphic Packaging They make packing for just about anything, they do the cardboard graphics and boxes for cases of beer or just about anything else, they are all over the place so maybe once I get my foot in the door I can transfer to a cannabis friendly state.

I Got a call from the employer and they said that I had to go retake My piss test today( i guess it was to diluted from all the fluids I drank). Well I immediately went and bought a home drug test kit and failed(again).

Went to where my wife worked and made her pee in a bag and
I was going to use here urine when the ****ing bag broke and got all over me. Well I called the job and told them something to get it postponed till tommorrow morning went to a head shop and they sold me

OMNI cleansing softgel Extra strength.

This is similar to what I took before But it is only one pill, I've got my fingers crossed.

i dont suppose you are over-weight? 2 1/2 months seems very very long to still be testing positive....best thing is to exercise and burn out those metabolites...

If you fail just blank demand that they do another test because you haven't taken any drugs. It must be nearly out of your system by now.

If you have to, appeal against their decision in writing and telephone calls and emphasise your enthusiasm for the job. Try and get through to a senior person and explain the situation honestly.


I mean jeez man, you've quit smoking (and growing?) weed - which is a fairly major and hard-to-justify action - so you're obviously keen to get this job.

havent quit growing, but have quit smoking for the time being.

Would love to use a synthetic urine but just dont have the time. I think Im going to order some though to have on hand if I ever need it again?
