I got a few small trees in my backyard going and today I went outside to give them a feeding. I picked up one of the pots and the roots grew out the pot holes in the bottom and into the earth they were sitting under. The roots weren't that deep, maybe a couple of inches.. I lost some root.. Is that going to delay it a bit now? They just started budding.. Hope not im running low on erb.

The plant might suffer a little bit, but it'll live. Don't worry about it too much, and don't pick up any more containers 'till harvest.

Thanks for the input. I have to start bringing them inside at night soon... Dont want them to go missing when they're full of buds...

I'd suggest repotting them into something larger, they are gonna need more room if they are already pushing through the bottom.

They should still have lots of room in there? I just repotted them a few weeks ago.. No way they could have filled up that quick... :chin:

Put it this way...the bigger the pots, the bigger the yield. Spend the extra $10 or so and you'll be rewarded in extra ounces. I think the decision here is a simple one ;) Those roots might just be solitary ones that shot down (like a tap root). Take the plant out of the pot and take a look at the soil. If it's nicely rooted, pot up. If it still has lots of room for roots, leave it.

Yeah glock they're not very big plants to begin with.. They'll finish fine in what they're in ;)

Just a couple a single tap roots out for an adventure.
