So I had surgery on my ankle today...

And I'm having a hard time trying to decide which hurts more - My throat from where they put the breating tube down my neck, or my hand where I had the IV.

Amazingly enough, I feel absolutely no pain in my ankle where I had the surgery

Oxycodone. Which I won't take, because I really hate pills of any sort.

Whew! I hate surgery! Well, don't get me wrong...I do love the pain killers afterwards. But my throat hurt bad when I got surgery this summer. It went away after awhile, just in time for my surgery wound to start to hurt. Where they put my IV never hurt, just felt kinda strange. I wouldn't mind taking those pain killers off of your hand though

Why the surgery?? And here is to a speedy recovery
The last time I had surgery was when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and they gave me some awesome pills. The only other time was when I had 10 teeth pulled, the day before Thanksgiving too....weak. Great pills then too! I don't mind as much when they keep me fucked up.
Hope your ankle pain continues to remain minimal.

The surgery was to remove a chunk of bone that had broken off a number of years ago in my ankle. It finally got bad enough where I had to have it taken out. And now I'm glad I did cause thing doesn't hurt at all. I am truly amazed.

So now I'll go ahead and finish off this kif topped bowl, and go off to bed.

Well, it's a good thing I still had those pills. Because tuesday afternoon I broke 2 ribs. Didn't get to the doctor until this morning (friday), where he prescribed me some generic vicodin. (Which I still haven't taken, lol)

(I took the Oxycodone's just so I could sleep for a couple of hours last night. Man, now I know how people can get addicted to them.)

Unlike my ankle, this hurts like hell. Especially when I sneeze. Or cough :furious:

I fell backwards out of a truck on to a piece of grating equipment (It was a big grinder that road crews use to chew up asphalt when they resurface a road.)
I landed on my left kidney, basically.

As to being an unhealthy couple of months, not really. I haven't been sick or had any major malodies in the past 10 years or so. I guess I'm just due. (especially with all the times I should have gotten hurt, but didn't.)
