I thought we had too much snow, I'm just glad I dont live in these pictures
well it isnt western provinces for sure, we havent had that much snow since 59, it was that and more that yr.Where is this??? i have "aboot" 3 feet of snow on my front lawn and im in Central Canada
I would assume east coast?
your in nw sk right? you mentioned it in one thread. I grew up there too. and if you ask anyone who was around in 59 about the snow. roads blew in so bad that drifts were over the powerlines. roads were plowed thru fields to go around the deepest parts. older members of my family talk of walking up on snow above the vehicles travelling in the "channels" or paths thru the banks. In Sk the most i have ever seen in 4-5 foot drifts max.
Could not handle the rain the west!! a little snow is no big issue

I wish they had taken pictures of it then. I was too young to remember it enough to describe it proper. I didnt go to school so stayed home, we always had snow tunnels in the drifts so only remember we had real tall rooms one yr. and shoveling snow so could feed animals.
Im pretty much in the biggest city in central SK, not to give it away haha! Think i just did. Anyway, yeah that was much befor my time, but i have been told old wifes tales about the show, cant see it.
haha now there are poles that are 40-50 feet, and there are poles on the highway that are 20" and if this was the 50's im guessing your talking about the short ones " still crazy amount of snow!"
Anyway, the weather here has been pretty wild the last few years, last year we had 3 years of rain in 2 months! most water SK has ever seen fall from the sky, everyone thought we were in for a simular winter but, it has been pretty nice!
