By flushing the herb for 7-10 days, you can increase the THC per weight by decreasing the amount of fertilizer in the buds.
WTF????? I do not find this logical.... if true why not just stop watering the plant, you will definately reduce the weight so would you increase the amount of THC?

On another note those pictures are wicked and I mean FREAKEN wicked!!!!

heh heh heh.. I think the ganja plan is to let the plant convert energy from any remaining fertilizer salts which are still left in the soil and leaves. By removing as much of the shit from the plant as possible, you can really let the genetics fly. After all, who wants to smoke Kool Bloom. lol
I didnt use Kool Bloom this time, but I think its best to flush that shit out of the soil/hydro as much as possible without damaging the plants life process.

Think of it like this, if you load the nutes onto a plant, there will be maybe 10% of the plants weight will be that fertilizer nutrient. 10% less shit in my finished product will mean a 2.5% increase of THC in a plant with 25% THC by weight.

I received the Champagne clone from a commercial grower in the San Fransisco area sometime around 2000-2002. It is in fact a Kush indica hybrid. Kush x Hashplant is a good guess for my version.

Years ago, (pre-2000) Hightimes magazine published a commercial grow room in detail and if I can remember correctly the strains they grew were; Champagne, M-39, and something else.

Sometime around the year 2000, I was posting the champagne clone on overgrow. The pictures were very nice and even took a photo contest win on Overgrow! Another Overgrow member named LBHydro also grew the Champagne clone but we determined there was 2 Champagne clones. One is the Vancouver version which is less sweet and less leafy. The other version we discussed was the California Champagne, as seen in Hightimes. The cali version turns much darker than the vancouver version, often times turns purple and has a strong and sweet taste when smoked. One down side regarding the Cali-Champagne is that it is very leafy but the yield is very large so it makes up for the hash covered leaves. I kept the clone for about 3 years and after backcrossing it 3x, I decided to let it go. So my seed stock of the cali-champagne bx3 is very close to the original clone and I am happy with it. I used an old afghani indica male from the Alaskan tundra as the pollen for the female champ clone. The alaskan tundra x champagne was a deadly indica that would knock out hardened smokers. heh... My buddy sold some to his co-workers at TGI-fridays and as the story goes, it put that whole fucking restaurant on lock down. 80% of the orders were fucked up, food going to the wrong tables, kids being handed alcohol by the waiters.... lol anyway, the bx3 is funner to smoke despite the fact that the 50/50 hybrid was a deadly 90% indica.

This is the most info I've ever read about a purple champagne. I have a clone given to me that I'm told is purple champagne, so I wonder if it's the same as California Champagne? Does this girl look fimiliar at all?
