yeah, i got a big bunch of those SNL dvds as well.
as for the show itself, i stopped watching it many years ago. i just couldn't take the completely toothless political satire anymore.

Hello all,

Great show. It was a blast to see them all together.

The tribute to the lost members was nice also.

John Belushi, Gilda, John Lovitt

John Lovitz isn't dead. That scared me for a second there.

I haven't seen the show, but I need to when I get home in a few days. SNL was my favorite show for a while in the 90s. Chris Farley would have been a fun guy to get high with.

thanks for starting this thread, otherwise i would probably not have watched the special.
it was entertaining even though it again reminded me why i stopped watching SNL in the first place:
- way way way too many musical numbers
- a one-note joke that would be funny for 30 secs gets expanded into what felt like a 15 minute sketch ("The Californians")
- awful music (paul simon's was the only one i didn't skip)

otherwise it was quite funny. they really got EVERYBODY.
man, eddie murphy looks as good as he did in the last movie i saw him in, which must have been around 2000. seems not to have aged at all.
