just a heads up to anyone in London or traveling there

A friend of mine was traveling to london yesterday and when he got off the bus he was picked up by a drugs dog
he was lucky to get away with a caution and his stash confiscated

Although I don't live in the UK, I recall having read a few days ago a newspaper article about marijuana in the UK.
It is being discussed making marijuana a B or C category again (hence reversing the marijuana statute given a few years ago) : effect of this new legislative change would be for the authorities to be harder on marijuana users.

Maybe (more than likely) the dogs are also trained to sniff for explosives, and it's a counter-terrorist measure.

nah ive seen it a few tomes....theyve done it at train stations-all sorts targetting drugs, not weapons or exposives......
Expect this shit at anything these days, festivals, concerst...going o fucking work.... It is going to be impossible to travel

Unlucky for you friend to get clocked by the dog OP but at least the particular coppers weren't to anal retentive.

Even traveling in your own car can be risky, got to make sure you don't give them an excuse to stop & search. Then when they do fabricate one its best not to have had a smoke in the car because the slightest smell gives them the right to search.

I agree - NO smoking cannabis in the car, especially if you're carrying or have a grow, or more of it, at home.

here in the U.S. the damn sniffing dogs are everywhere: Interstates, airports, trains, buses; even hotel & motel owners train their own.

I recently stayed in a motel where many dogs & owners were being certified. I stayed in my room, watched them work in the parking lot, & tried to smoke up my stash, lol

In my humble opinion, Police shouldn't even be involved in the world's drug problems, let alone DOGS!
