Smoking room odor control solutions?

To eliminate or mask the odor of burning trees in a 10'x10'x room, would a carbon filter with a fan work? Not vented out to anything, punching holes in walls and ceilings is not an option. I just want to keep the rest of the crib from smellin like herb, any other options worth lookin at? TIA.

here you go mate, this is just what you need - http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=61161 :)

his pics were removed for some reason, so check out the other pages for examples

the good part about this is that it is an odor neutralizer, so it doesn't just mask the smell, it removes it :)

most of the reviews of people who have made one of these are along the lines of - "thanx this thing rocks my whole house smells great, i keep it in the middle of the house on a 30 on 30 off cycle. "

Carbon filters does work for burning weed. You need good carbon filter material however and lots of it. The carbon filters you get at Lowes/Home depot are crap and a waste of your money. And I don't know about that ONA stuff, they call it a odor neutralizer, but I'm not convinced anything you can smell that strongly after treatment just seems like it masking to me. But I haven’t tried it so I can’t make an informed judgment about it. I do know that good carbon filters work quite well.

Works great, I am making one for my old man to take tobacco smoke out of his smoking room.

Yes it will work just fine.

I have a 6" cf and taped to the top is a 6" fart fan from fleabay. Almost 300m3/hr iirc. It gets dragged into the living room for when I'm trimming, does a great job, an hour after I've finished trimming the fan can be turned off.

Thanks for the suggestions folks...thanks for pulling up that thread AP, gonna try that first since it's way cheaper than a carbon filter/fan.
