Smoking at work?

I work nights driving a parking lot sweeper truck. I blaze before and during work. And although it makes me lazy as the night goes on I still love smoking at work. Theirs 2 of us in the truck (of coarse he blazes w/me) and its pretty nice seeing central florida at night while buzzed. Trust me, you see ALOT of strange shit, the freaks come out at night!!

By the way, great thread. Your question is something alot of can relate to

i used to do tech support for a satelite tv company, and because of the way that call centers track their emplyees almost obsessively i have actual statistical proof that i was better at it ehen i was stoned, i was just alot more patient with the idiots that called up, yet i fixed their problems fastr because my head wasn't so clouded with anger either at them for being idiots or at the idiots who installed their systems wrong.

i'm a much better worker stoned. i work in a kitchen and on the days i smoke i finish my closing duties about 20 minutes earlier than if i didn't smoke. if i don't smoke i'm usually in a bad mood and my body aches. my boss is tough on everybody else but LOVES my work and treats me like a son. i work with a deep frier and watching shit cook can be well kinda trippy.

Many moons ago, a friend and I worked together in the same restaurant as line cooks. We had a manager that swore we both worked better when we were high. Every now and then, he's say something like "you two are workin for shit...GO TAKE OUT THE TRASH!" (which was his way of saying"go out back and get high!") LOL
ahhh the good ol days. Now I'm self employed, so I may be a bit baked on an easy job, but sometimes hold off till after the gig if it's a bit tougher, or I'm dealing with my clients.

well ive worked as a stoned customer service representative for verizon and wachovia bank. it makes the time go by, and occasionally i would get that person that would hold a conversation for an hour or so..i would just ramble on...

perfect example of working hard at hardly working. while stoned.

wow now THAT is incredibly stupid. you don't think they know what you look at on their computers? they must know you're a grower. shit they can just look at your sig and see some of your grows. I'd never browse icmag from work, especially if i was growing

lol i used to do customer service for a credit card company and i smoked before work and on all 3 of my breaks, and it got to the point where i would smoke way too much. by the end of the day i had a hard time paying attention because of a combination of not getting much sleep the night before, and being incredibly stoned several times throughout the day without having a chance to sleep it off at all. sometimes i'd practically fall asleep on the phone or just completely forget what i was talking about in mid-conversation. i'd have someone on the phone just talking for like 5 minutes explaining their problem, then my answer would be "wait... what?" lol. the funny thing is i always had the best stats out of anyone in the call center

i work in a kitchen now and dont go into work to stoned, too much interaction and sharp or hot things........... when i worked in a factory i used to get blasted on my lunch breaks and avoid the machines hehehehe

i do 3d modeling/texturing for commercials and the occasional movie/tv show depending on what contracts my studio picks up. either way though its pretty artistic, and i find i make a lot better work if im a little stoned. it gives me a little more interest in the tedious elements that will make or break a model in the end. plus i feel a bit more inspired and thoughtful when im blazed rather than a detached zombie doing what im told.

I work as a lawyer, i'm pretty much stoned 24/7, i believe ganja increases productivity a lot.
I used to work as a cook to pay for college, never ever smoked weed on that job, i couldn't handle being stoned on such a physical job.

I've tried it. I, like someone else mentioned, drive for work. The quicker I drive, the more money I make. I never go more than 5-10 over the lmiit, and always drive safe. I'm very proud of my clean driving record. Getting high at my job usually makes me drive slower (more cautiously) and get lost more often.

I also have a night cleaning job, same place, where I'm the only one in the building for about two hours between the time the store closes and opens. I haven't been going in high yet, but as soon as I have a harvest I'll definitely be blazing before I go in.

I find I talk to my coworkers a lot more when I'm high, just rambling on about things that seem like good topics for conversation, but after I'm done rambling I realize it's not as entertaining as I thought.

I've worked grooming dogs for 40 years,and have been a toker almost as long. Most days I don't smoke before work, because it slows me down too much, but damn, those dogs I scissor while high come out perfect! I have noticed that I have incredible patience with the puppies, the crotchety old ones and the just plain nutso ones when I'm high, so if I am assigned one of those for the day I may just go out back and blaze before starting. It seems to have a calming effect on both me and the animals. Unfortunately, my boss has also noticed this "talent" with the difficult ones and so I seem to get more than my share, and, well, you gotta do what you gotta do to get 'em done. My boss and co-workers know I smoke, but never know I'm high.

i usually light up my one hitter while driving in between jobs, on my way to the office, or right after i get out.
Some of my co-workers have caught on, but right now im the most productive of any of them so my boss doesn't care as long as i'm makin money for him.
