Strain: Northernberry (NL#5 x Blueberry)

Breeder: Peak Seeds

Phenotype: Mostly Indica (50/50 NL/B)

Flower Time: 56 days


Appearence: Dense, light green, frosty, light orange hairs, and some purple hues. Nice looking nuggage for sure. 8/10

Smell: Berry, earthy, and skunky. Nice complex smell with some funk added to it. 7/10

Taste: Grapes. The aftertaste is grapy with small hints of berry. Pretty good but I thought it would taste alot better. 7/10

High: Smack you in the back of the head end of the night knock your ass out stone. This is straight up Indica for sure. I tried smoking during the day and I was wanting to take a nap. This is a potent hybrid for sure. She hits hard and fast. 8/10

Overall: This is the only NB pheno I've sample so far. I'm sure there are better phenos but this one is pretty good. I like to keep this for my nighttime stash. One thing I can say is that she was easy to grow. I guess that's the NL in the genes. Besides the funky tones she is also quite a low odor strain. I also think if grown bigger she can be a nice yielder too. The nugs are quite dense. Overall this is a nice hybrid. 7.5/10

Thanks for the report! Peak Seeds seem to have some great deals on their seeds at only $40 usd and a good report from Greenman's page. You're report is consistant with others I have read, looks like it's time to give them a try.

Awesome smoke report, Closet Funk. I recently grew out 2 northenberry females from Peak and I must concur with your report. I had two different phenos, one better than the other but both were definitely worth smoking. A full bowl of this stuff (and usually, half is enough) can easily put an individual down for the count. Fat, dense nugs from top to bottom. This girl's a stand out in my eyes. Easy to grow, good yield, good smoke . . . And the smell. Both of the girls I grew smelled stupendous. There's a little bit more to the smell than just the obvious fruity, berry scent. The specific odor coming off these girls smells like something sweet that you should pour milk over and eat with a spoon. (Random side note: I did put my NB in a bowl, but no spoon and no milk were involved though. They just smell like they belong in a box of cereal (when I'm high)).
