Here is a little smoke report form i downloaded a while ago. It covers the bases pretty well. Feel free to copy and use it as you please.

GROW Method:

1. Visual Appeal
Rate the visual appeal of the buds from 1-10 unappealing-excellent.


2. Visible Trichomes:
Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.


3. Use an X to indicate the colors that are present in the trichome
heads under magnification or list the percentages of each color for
a more precise report. Leave these fields blank if you do not have a powerful magnifier.

4. Mark with X the colors that are present in the buds or for a more
detailed color analysis rate presence on a scale 1-9 light-dark.

5. Bud density:

Rate the bud density from 1-10 airy-dense. For samples that are
not in their natural state leave this field blank.


6. Use numbers 1-9 on descriptors that apply to the aroma of freshly broken bud where a one indicates a subtle presence and 9 indicates a pronounced presence. Delete the existing space when marking a descriptor in order to maintain the columns in alignment.

If desired repeat SSR after an additional two weeks of curing.

This form has been passed around and around... thank gawd it's not used in IC's Smoke Reports.

Can you say laborious, hard to read and full of clutter?

Hey Maistre,yeah,my reports are usually a lot briefer than that but some folks really like to break it down,and for them this is right up thier alley.

Yeah, but for a first time smoke reporter, it at least helps them get an idea of things to think about.

I think it is a good guide as far as what to talk about.... BUT... damn those things SUCKED bigtime on the old cw site.

This form is also on Smokey's Smoke Report forum... thankfully its not used much.

i am definitely not a fan of reading those type of smoke reports. Id much rather have a few paragraphs and photos.
