Right on man, babies are looking happy and healthy.

Are you throwing them in the ground and using native soil or do you plan on making some amendments or using store bought for your medium?

What kinda nutes do ya plan on rocking for yer girls?

Are you doing a guerrilla grow or in the backyard kinda thing?

Sorry for all the questions bro, great job so far and keep up the good work!

Danny

Hey Danny,
i have another plant in the ground in my vegetable garden, just a mix of store bought garden soil and the soil that was already there. These are in some potting soil i bought from the local hardware store. i will use nutes once they're bigger, 5th or 6th node, canna makes some good stuff. These are in my back yard, not guerilla. I move them from my deck in the morning, to the veggie garden in the afternoon. All told they get about 7 hours of direct sun.

LST? any experience from anyone here. Look okay?

LST? any experience from anyone here. Look okay?

Doing a little LST on two of these as they have stretched a bit while i was away this week. Hopefully this is correct as i have never done this before. Seems to be pretty straightforward due to all the stuff i have read on the site. No breaking or cracking of any stems so hopefully were in good shape. Fingers crossed! heres a few pics

Browning of a leaf?

Browning of a leaf?

I also am attaching a picture of one leaf on another plant that got a bit of browning going on. Not sure if anyone has ideas on this?

hi there!
it seems to me that the compost is drying out and that the vases are heating up from the sides... also it seems that the garden soil is not the best you could use. buy a good one and make a side by side experiment just to be sure. this is a fun hobby :)
i put some pine bark on top of soil... even some paper around the vase could limit the heat. happy growing
peace.

Hey Vidro,
Thanks for the tips man. I will definitely get into some more experimenting as life goes on. This was kinda the first run checkin out my new crib and spot for sun and what not. I agree better soil and stuff will definitely help. I never thought about the heat of the actual pots tho and the effect that would have on the plants.

Im gonna post up some pics either tomorrow or saturday cuz they are looking beautiful... they've gotten really nice and full since the last pics.. :) and it is a fun hobby!

Some new pics

Hey Vidro,
you mentioned pine bark. Is this something you buy at the store or do you find a pine tree and strip it? Can you go into a little more detail on this. Im interested.

Hello Smokabomber,

first, your plants look stronger now! :)

about the pine bark, i collect it at the forest in summer when its dry. only the big pieces so that i can put them as i want and simplify when its time to harvest and store things away.

btw, best spots to collect are places where big pine trees have been cut for wood. The soil is covered with lots of pine bark
