Thanks for the kind comments everybody! My photos have a lot of room for improvement, but it sure is fun learning and sharing with you. Now I'm wanting to buy a newer camera to replace my 3+ year old 2mp one, and some better lighting would help a lot too. Unfortunately I became unemployed last week, so it's time to tighten my belt. I'm pretty good at what I do so I'm hopeful it shouldn't be too long before I'm employed again. Just glad I don't have to buy grass. With as much as I smoke I'd be broke fast!
What a compliment BigToke, thanks so much! Organically grown with lots of love.
Thanks Eco. I needed a little break anyways so I'm not sweating it yet. The photos are ok, just wish the highlights weren't so washed out. Diffused lighting maybe?
Hi Rolando,
Nice job on the grow, the plants look beautiful and the colors are striking. The only plant that I know that has those reddish hues is Soma's Rockbud. It may be a possibilty that you'll see that same strain, or another colorful Soma strain in my garden soon, thanks to sunnyside! Just wanted to let you know that I did nominate that first pic of yours for January's POTM. If I can give you a helpful hint, try and focus more on the bud instead of the leaf. If you have the ability to adjust your f-stop, set it to the highest setting, like f22 and you'll have better results with your depth of field.
Best of luck with your grow, they all look fantastic!
Yeah, it's just a point and shoot, although I do use the macro function. Which in hindsight, might have made it harder to focus on some of the shots. I'd love to buy a SLR digi, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.
The brilliant neon green of the stems stands out almost as much as the leaves. Someone did a good job with the genetics.
