Small spindly new growth....Paranoia? (PICS)

whats up guys

....it seems to me when I increased my nutes, the new growth kinda slowed down and became small and spindly... (or am I just being retarded)

did I cause a nutrient lockout? I'm debating lowering the nutes back down again, or maybe I should let her sit in some plain water first to clear her head?

I'm using the DWC method, with the GH flora series nutes...this happened when I increased them from 1-1-1 to 2-1.5-1 ...(no ppm meter here, sorry) I also increased the cal-mag.... the pH has been a stable 5.8 though...

Don't worry, those plants are looking damn healthy ! Nice dark green coloration, no sign of nute burn... They are happy !

new leafs are always closed like that.

i do see the slightest hint of a mag def coming..

otherwise they look great!
