Small DWC Setup Check & Issues

Hi guys, I hope it's ok that I'm posting a very similar post both here and Indoor Hydro. I might have posted it originally in the wrong group because there was no response. So I thought I try here.

I hope I'm posting in the right place. I'm a first time grower but I'm also doing it indoor hydroponically. I'd like to vet out my setup with your expertise to see if I'm doing anything wrong.

I have two 3 gallon DWC buckets in a 2.5 x 2.5 Gorilla grow tent setup, small. Each bucket has 2 areators. So, 4 air tubes go into an Active Air 6 watt, 15 liters/min air pump which has 4 outlets. The grow medium is Hydroton. I am using Advanced Nutrients' Sensi Grow A line, with supplemental B-52 and beneficial bacteria from Piranha.

I am using Galaxy Hydro Full Spectrum 300 watts LED lights 16 inches from the top most leaf. These lights run all the time because I have 1 clone and 1 seedling in veg state.

Each bucket is wrapped with Reflectix insulation. 2 small clip on fans blow the air around. I also have a big fan connected to a carbon scrubber when the odor starts. So, that's not plugged in now.

Question 1: is this a good setup?

I was having issues with pH & reservoir temperatures until I called Advanced Nutrient's Grower's help line and the guy advised me that their products work with pH ranging from 5.6 to 6.5 as the sweet spot but since they have this "pH perfect" technology, it apparently widens the pH range for nutrient uptake, so the pH range can be anywhere from 4 to 8..... he says.

He did tell me that my reservoir temperatures are too hot. Ideally it should be between 65 F to 70 F. Before calling him, I was constantly at about 75 F, which was why 2 plants already died on me.

So currently, I'm trying my best to keep the reservoir temps in the 65 to 70 F range by dropping in those freezer packs you use to keep your lunch cool into the reservoir. I find that 1 freezer pack keeps the temperature in range for about 1.5 days, then I'd have to plop in another one. I take pH, TDS & temperature readings twice a day.

My environment temperature is always consistent at about 75 F & 50% RH.

Being a new grower and still learning, I seriously stressed out the clone I had and it's been a month and it's still only 13 inches tall, it's Purple Trainwreck. My seedling looks to be doing great but it's super short like there's hardly any distance between the leaves.

Question 2: Is the clone too stressed and stunted that I should just throw it out?
If you look at the photo, I seem to see 2 problems going on, the one in the yellow and the other in the red. Or are they the same problem? The red looks like it's a spot like lasered on. Whereas the yellow look like the leaves are humping like a camel in between each vein and the hump is yellower than the rest of the leaf.

Question 3: The seedling is Pakistani Valley. Is that growth normal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
