why not build what you need. it is really quite easy. go to home depot or similar store (i assume that you dont have home depot where you are cause ur using the metric system). build it with 2x4s and plywood. plant it out before, make a sturdy frame out of 2X4s then cover it with the plywood. its really quite simple. the main thing is plan it out to every board and stud first, then assembly will be quick and easy.

Yes, you can do it. I would suggest a Scrog setup, using maybe 2 to 3 plants tops. dependant on how you are going to cool the light, a 400 watt would be perfect. Scrog setup would be perfect for that size.

The way I see it, the higher the ceiling the further the heat gets away from the plants. Just make sure you're exhausting close the ceiling so you don't have too much heat up there.

i wouldn't say tree, but he doesn't really need to scrog it out if he doesn't want to. if he was using a 400 (overkill IMO) thats plenty of penetration for a nice lil bush. scrog would prolly yield more, but its not really necessary. a 250 would prolly do fine with 4 lil mini bushes under it. that would cut veg time a lot with 4 plants and if one plant wasn't doin well, then just chop her out and make more room for the other 3 to fill in.

Yea man thats over 4 square feet so your looking at almost 100 watts per foot. I'd say that's a bit much, 60 or less is usually more efficient. So... the only trick might be keeping it cool. I like to run an air cooled light venting out into the COLD AIR return.

Why even grow in the closet? It's not as if it will be stealth a humming .. glowing weed stinking closet. With the door closed it will certainly get too hot in there. Are you planning on venting through the ceiling ?

Why not just use the bedroom and some panda film to make yourself a proper grow room and utilize the larger area that a 400 watt light is meant for. You can make a cheap frame out of wood by pre drilling holes and screwing the wood together or mount a strip of wood to the ceiling and the use Black & White Poly or Panda Film to lightproof the room.

Now just don't take people in the room who can't know about the grow... which you shouldn't be doing even if you left it in the closet.. and your fine.. and your plants will do much better and you will get a larger yield more easily.

I've done cabinet and closet grows and they tend to be cramped and hot. Since you have a small closet I'd especially say that it's more worth moving the bloom operation out into the bedroom and perhaps using the closet for storage or veg room. With Panda film you can lightproof and section off your room easily making unlimited possibilities. Using the wooded frame approach you can setup with minimal impact to the room. The frames can be made to screw together so it's easy to setup and take down to move to another place. With a 400 you could really do more like 3x3 or perhaps even 4x4 depending on your growing style (shorter even height plants do better than taller ones under large light foot prints). It's more work but your closet is going to be work also and you could perhaps double your yield with a larger bloom area and decrease time between harvests by using the closet as a veg chamber. You could even use a large rubbermaid or wooded box for a veg chamber instead since the height of the closet is wasted unless it has shelves making it better for say.. stacking up rubbermaids full of supplies or clones.

Yup man I'd build the home made tent thing. www.mdhydro.com has some of the best deals on panda film I've seen. If anyone else finds better POST IT please. Go for an air cooled light and get a light mover for around 150-175 and you can up your yield even more by getting the light right up on the plants. If you do decide you have to do the closet I'd recommend doing a SOG grow and packing a lot of single branch plants together. Look up SOG and advanced pruning techniques, but basically you grow a bunch of plants and prune them aggressively to make them basically one three inch diameter bud when finished blooming. Then you back them together. Dr Dalat I think called this High Density Sea Of Green or HD SOG. It's good for small spaces like you have, but either way the 400 watter if overkill for that size room and you will need a vent duct running out somehow to move that heat out of the room... which means the door is going to propped open with a 4-6 inch silver duct looking like the NASA/biochemical team has setup shop.. certainly not stealthy.

If your growing just don't let anyone in the room, do up the windows with panda film and section off the door(s) to the room with panda film to block out the mysteriously bright light which will shine from the edges of your bedroom door otherwise. Now you have a real area to work with and can get some serious yield. As for the lost room space.. think about it like this. At least your not in Tokyo and you'll have twice as much bud doing it the right way rather than jamming it into that somewhat small closet and awkwardly venting it outward.

Do it!

Do it!

It's definatly possible bro...
I am growing 4 plants in my closet, which has identical dimensions to your closet...
They are a little cramped but it definatly works. I sealed the edges of the closet door with foam stripps, I usually am able to keep the door open during the day w/lights on, so it doesnt get very hot. The temps are actually usually perfect, around 75 degrees F. At night I close the door and they are light free for the night, I use towels along the gap on the bottom to keep light leeks out...
I use 2 fans in there to circulate air around the closet too. My only problem was the height, my plants were too tall, so I was able to raise the light even higher, so now I think my closets perfect!
I also have a 400 watt HPS lamp in there. I'm almost 3 weeks into flowering...
Good luck, and lets see some pics!
