Small buds? Day 29 since flipping to 12/12.

Day 29 since flipping to 12/12. Seems the bud growth is a little small/slow. Should the buds be bigger by day 29? Everything I've read about this strain(Ethos Grandpa's Stash) is it is a very quick finisher 56-60 days so i figured the buds would be bigger by now. Plants are in 1 gallon rain science grow bags, fed 3x a day during lights on. Currently feeding at 1.9ec, runoff has been within 150ppm of inflow. Temp 81. Humidity 60ish. Leaf surface temp 77. Leaf VPD 1.0kPa. Thanks dudes!

Normal for now , but they are certainly 56-60 days from flowering and not from 12/12 ...

At 4 weeks you can usually visualise the finished flower formations. I use 4.5 weeks as a progress date, as 4 weeks is when they really are getting in the swing of things. In just a few days you may feel better

A lot of 1 gallon bags makes a lot of smaller plants. Roots make fruits they say. It'll be OK from it looks like.

That's normal for Sativa dominant, grown indoors.

Looks like you're taking good care of the plants. The buds will pack on the weight.

Absolutely beautiful. They are a tad on the small side, sure, but some top notch phenos/strains are like that. Plus, I can't really tell from the pics how close they are to finishing. Are they still chugging water, or barely drinking? Some phenos/strains still have a ton of weight to add at day 46. I personally would have topped/trained that plant- you can get the light a lot closer when you don't have that one tall main cola, and sometimes more light early/midway in flower can help form bigger buds- maybe next time- or reveg 'er

Man, those are freaking killer-looking buds! Whatever you are doing, keep doing it, because those are almost wicked. Smaller buds sites have a lower mold count and a higher potency potential. Heavy root mass under the smaller canopy will give a plant a higher potency potential compared to bigger plants with heavy root mass. The strongest weed I've ever smoked was only 18 inches tall. 😎
