It's your connection.
When I use cable the site flies, but on anything else, Slugsville.
Lots of Pic's you know.
I bet you use Windows too? If you shut off IE's Phishing Filter it helps.

If your using cable, mabe you live in an area where more people are on when you are.
Or it's something completley different, and only your ISP knows for sure.
But it's not the site.

It could be your proxy server. I find some are faster then others, and even that changes throughout the day.
