Well it isn't that I don't care about it I just used to grow outdoors so there wasn't a way to manage it really.

With the green houses you can do wet walls to make it cooler and more humid and the plants love it

Yes I realize greenhouse blocks UV.

My ideal set up is a Cravo house with a big ass wadsworth blackout kit inside it that way I can open the roof for some UV, close it for warmth/rain protection/cooling and control photo period ... I'll never be able to do that though where I'm at cause building codes

Yea Phillips greenpower , gavita whatever you want to call it... 1000w De HPS

Yeah, they are dope, wet enviro rated too, fair price - when I say VPD I think you get I don't necessarily mean a deficit

Yes I just mean having a way to adjust for the plants evapotranspiration outdoors isn't really possible unless you run a High pressure fog all the time... greenhouse you can dial in like indoor

In Ohio, the M3 Al test is worthless. (They don't have bicarbonates in their water. Nor high Na.)

All depends where you are standing.

I have plenty of leaf analysis from all kinds of pH soils. Reality varies depending on your dynamics. Don't apply Mn and keep applying Fe and Al and let me know how that works out for you.

Azomite applied to an organic grape farm in CA (alkaline soils) brought avg leaf analysis from 20 to 30 ppms to more than 300 ppms in one season. Not supposed to happen is it....

It has been demonstrated that plants exude more and more acids when they need a specific metal. Often this results in more Al uptake due to the lack of balance between metals due to the huge amount of Fe and Al and dramatic lack of Mn, Cu, Zn and others. Co and Mo also come to mind as "balancers".

No one knows the ability of this particular plant to generate root exudates to pick up nutrients.

If I were to guess, I would bet that it is pretty amazing.

Very glad to see you coming around and learning, since saying this a couple of months back;

I have only been looking into root exudates a couple of years now, but not something that I dwell on as I have good root systems

Keep it up and you'll get there.

Need that wet rating or county won't let you hang them in gh

RE outdoors, yeah your left at mercy largely of where you are, which is why this plant like many AG products naturally ends in a GH, rules will drive it there too...

Wet rating, One of the good rules the county has, many others out there are undeniably unfair in comparison to all other crops... as I'm sure you feel daily

They make field growing cannabis super hard they're already pushing in to greenhouse for production beyond the few rec plants allowed.

Most their rules aren't too bad actually. I'd say my county is the second best for laws in the state best being Monterey county where you go to some large greenhouse ranges and you got 3-4 outfits each operating an acre plus.

They're still trying to figure out the 3B and 5A Permit here and our ag commissioner is weary of handing them out before CDFA gives their framework for licensure

Also about UV and quality link this is very anecdotal but something I didn't think about till we started rappin aboutbit just now I've grown the same strains inside outside and greenhouse and all had very close terpene content and psychoactive content based on LC/GCMS
