Skunk possibly?

I'm looking for a very easy to grow strain that has high potency and high yields. I'm not too concerned about the flowering time, but an early harvest would be nice. I've been looking at some skunk, but growing with feminised seeds would save me a lot of trouble and time actually. I was just inquiring what other strains grow well under typical newbie conditions that would have high potency and yields. How are the yields with easy sativa? Would DP PowerPlant be a good choice?

For me, one of the easiest growing varieties has been Serious Seed's AK-47.The phenotype that I have is very sativa, with excellent stretch. It it a heavy feeder, a good yielder and a potent plant. I grow it tree style, veg it 8 weeks and harvest it around 55-58 days. With proper light it will yield about 16 oz. as a tree.Can't help you w/ Power Plant. Never grew it.

Female seeds seem to get decent reviews. They have some Northern Lights which is another good one to start with.

Northern Lights is a good 'starter' plant, with great potency, and good yields ... I have had outstanding results with Joey Weed's 'NL99', a Northern Lights x Cinderella99 hybrid ... it is absolutely dummy-proof, I know, I'm a dummy, too :biglaugh: ... extremely stable, impossible to hermie ... very potent, grows to about 30"-36" tall, almost ZERO odor, maybe a faint whiff of lemon, at most ...

Power Plant is an excellent strain I grew many years ago. I love that type of high, and it's a massive yielding plant which finishes early. It was a cash cropper's favorite for a while. Not as stable as DP says it is (inbred, never hybridized), but personally I like a little bit of variety in seed plants.

A rewarding Skunk variety is allways worth growing.

Godbud was a high density plant for it's size. It was nice and purplish with lots of crystals. If you can try that, I'd say go for it. THough it only turned purply late in flowering.

You should check out william's wonder. Haven't had the pleasure yet, but from what I hear, large, potent, stinky buds. 55 to 65 days (according to breder) isnt too long. Anyway hope this helps.

socker1314;
powerplant sounds like a good strain to start with. it might seem cliche, but try something crossed with g13 or northern lights.
good luck.
