Hi everyone :tiphat:

Thought I’d throw my hat in the ring with these new turbo strains… I went for the mafia skunk turbo and sacitrus bomb turbo which sound tasty 🤤
I’ve just potted them into their first tiny pots of peat based compost

Straight on top of the soil:

Splash or two of warm water:

Covered with more compost:

And inside a plastic butter tub, closed up and placed on top of a warm kitchen cupboard

Now the waiting begins - I’ll check them in 3 days

Hello mr. brunch

Love your germination method, never thought of doing it like that before. Might just have to give it a try!

I'm in the Seeds Mafia Turbo contest as well, and selected the Amnesia X3 and Sacitrus Bomb. This will be my first try with "Turbos", so I'm really looking forward to seeing how they work out for myself and other growers.

Best of luck!

Mr B "your setting your stall out" on this one.. Havent seen clover butter in years 😆

Best wishes on this run my good man ☯️
Got to be done my friend…. Haven’t grown any skunk plants in years, and lemon is always good in my book.

My little lady doesn’t like any spreads apart from clover so I guess I’m stuck with it 🤣

All the best mate

They’re loving the April sunshine 🌞 today… put them out on the garden table for a few hours-

Now back on the window sill:

I’ll be putting a small platform in the middle of the tent where my current girls are flowering- I run the lights at night so they’ll benefit from sunshine in the day and led at night for the next few weeks.

I’ll be looking to pot up slightly in around 10 days :tiphat:

Looking good, mr. brunch!
What are your thoughts on transplanting (re-potting) these Turbo strains? I'm trying to decide if I should start them in small containers and up-pot them as necessary (like I would with regular photoperiod plants), or plant them directly in their "final destination" container (like I would with autos)?

Hi mate
I’m going to repot into slightly bigger pots in around 10 days, then after 2 weeks into 3L pots.
After being in those for a week or two they’ll go into 20L pots until finish.

If they are fast version they should be just like photoperiod as far as repotting goes. 🤞🤣

Thanks for the info, mr.brunch, it's much appreciated. I was leaning toward the same conclusion from what little info I could find online about Turbo varieties. Now you've cast the deciding vote, lol.

Looks like I'll start the seeds in 20 oz. plastic "beer" cups, then up-pot to 20L fabric bags for the rest of the ride.
I'm thinking about doing 2 plants of each variety in my own soil mix (well-aged cow compost + various dry nutes), using just water and maybe an occasional bat guano tea, and 1 plant of each variety in a commercially-available mix (Pro-mix, etc) with "bottled" ferts. Just to see the difference that organic will make with these strains. Any thoughts on this idea?

Setting up my tables and lights to start my seeds for my veggie garden today, & getting anxious to add some "real" seeds to the mix!

Should make for an interesting thread for sure 👍

Mine are loving the sunshine again today, they had their first night light sharing last night and seem happy for it
