Skrog's Zamal

Does anyone know what happened to these genetics? I read a forum on OG where this guy named skrog explained how he traveled deep into the interior island of la reunion and came across a local that had very unique and exceptional zamal genetics. The local had inherited these genes from his forefathers that had done generations of selective breeding, resulting in a very potent and unique strain, more unique than regular zamal. Skrog explained that it was the only weed that had ever given him visual hallucinations, and he was a c99/nevhaze addict! Again, he said it greatly differed to the commercial Zamal found on the rest of the island, which he considered regular sativa bagweed.

He was given seeds by the local after he showed him how to clone, and had a few hundred seeds I think. He was sending out some seeds to breeders to keep these genetics alive. Does anyone know what happened after that....i.e who got those seeds? Any breeding programs out there that are using these genetics?

From what I can tell all of the zamal lines that are circulating online are above the commercial grade available on the island including the gypsy nirvana zamal. When grown under proper conditions every zamal I've had has been outstanding herb and IMO much better than c99xnev's haze.

Jaypee- I think you are very right, though they are bushy. When I will do my ZamalX NevHaze, I will do a SOG with clones (from a zamal pheno mother) as X-line advised. Maybe lightly seeding could also bring down the flowering time, hopefully without taking away too much from the potency. I will have to think about that some more though (I think I will if I can supplement with some natural summer sunlight)

Zamailito, to my knowledge, all strains circulating on the web are from breeder Christophe in la Reunion, who gave the seeds to Gypsy. Gypsy, BTW, supplied the female seed X-line company (told directly by them). Is there more than one strain out there?
