Skoot Animal Repellent, containing Thiram

Has anyone here used the stuff? If so, please advise if it's effective and what your experience with it was. From the description, I would think it would be OK for our plants since it goes on the stalk only. Thank you.

Thiram is an antifungal. I bought corn seeds before that were coated with it.

It seems to act as an animal repellent to protect fruit trees and ornamentals from damage by rabbits, rodents and deer.

Right. I'm wondering if anyone here has used it on their plants. Surfing reveals nothing.

Come to think of it, I may try that stuff to protect leaves of plants which are being chewed by insects. Don't go near buds, handle it carefully, perhaps just paint it on parts of the leaves, not the whole leaf..... If deer, rabbits and mice find it repugnent, I think it likely that insects would react likewise.
