Sizing pump for Ez-Clone sprayers

D

What size pump would I need for 18 red ez-clone sprayers? Someone told me 25gph per head. There is a 396 or 633gph eco-plus pump the 396 would be good for 16 heads or 25 heads with the 633?

There is a hydrofarm 550 but it uses 45watts vs 35 for the eco 633.

I made a homemade water cloner that has 14 spray heads and if I remember correctly I used a pump that puts out somewhere between 350 to 400 gph and it works just fine. I think the 400 gph should work out fine for 18 spray heads.

A 633 eco powers my 2x4 table with 35 heads and 11 linear feet of pipe.
A 300 mag-drive powers my cloner with 8 heads and maybe 1.5 feet of pipe.

I think the 396 will be fine for either...

I have something round a 500 gph for 20ish misters and theres PLENTY of hard mist and pressure...

What ever you do. make sure it's not such a big pump that it generates a lot of heat.. then you will get root root rot or the roots will be very slow growing...

I know the 60 site ez-clone has the same pump as the 120.. and people have problems with the 60 site.

Whenever i clone in my 120 site i make sure it's in 72 degree temps.. roots in 7 days that way..

i have a eco 396 running 15 ez sprayers and it works fine, you can block off a few holes if you need more pressure or add more to decrease, i also put a couple 18" "pee" holes in the bottom of the manifold to decrease pressure and add aeration
