Size of seeds?

Today, my first batch of seeds arrived, I noticed that some seeds were very small, others were quite large. Some seeds must be 3-4 times larger at least than others.

So does the size of the seed give any kind of indication to the health of the seed/soon to be plant? Should I be looking for large seed, or does it just vary widely?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you can't tell anything from just the size of the seed. I had my purple chitrali seeds come in and were the smallest i've seen, but had amazing vigor. Happy growing.

Agreed ^^ ... in this case size dosen't matter...lol... as long as they have a decent color to them im sure they will all be great...

Thanks for the answers guys, the sprouts seem to agree with you guys, as all of the seeds I germed (1 from each strain, diff sizes) all sprouted and quite quickly/vigorously, with the smallest seed popping first by several hours, and with a quite hardy root.

Yeah man seed size means nothing, color on the other hand does matter. The biggest most vigorous plant I ever grew came out of a seed that was super tiny compared to "regular" sized cannabis seeds
