Flat white is all you need. For bloom, I'd want a 4x8 with 2 1000w lamps. Good luck. -granger

24 plants will fit under a single 1000 watt light, they will also fit under 24 1000 watt lights.

4' x 4' veg area & 4' x 8 bloom area .
600 or 1000 watts in veg & 2 1000's or 3 600's in bloom .
thats if you veg to about a foot high then split the 24 into 12 & 12 in bloom under 2 lights .
ventilation & air circulation adequite enough for both rooms .

You need a room that will be big enough to fit 24 plants.

Really though, you cant even answer that without some more info like:

What size T5 fixture?
What flowering light?
What method of growing?
What size pots?
How long are you planning on growing them out before flowering?

Something tells me you aren't sure of the answers to these questions either. I would figure that out first. Then you'd be able to get a better answer.

It's all in pruning/training, veg time, etc., Rookie. I've come to like growing fewer plants that I prune to make them wide and squat. It comes down to starting 12/12 with a nearly full canopy, allowing for stretch growth. I like about 6 bud sites per sq ft., regardless of how many plants there are. I pull out all the stops to keep from running out of head room. I want a min of 24" from canopy to light during last weeks before harvest [with 600w]. So you have bottom of light, 24" of space to canopy, then about 24 to 36" of plant to pot. Anymore height than that and all you're doing is growing scraggly larf. Good luck. -granger

Like granger said. Less is sometimes more. Espically if anyone is new to growing. Less plants are easier to watch and learn from. Besides say you have 15 plants, and burn the hell out of them, now you have to take care of 15 burnt plants instead of just 2 or 3.
