seedlings are currently under 8 bulb T5.
not sexed yet. waiting for signs
a majority of the seedlings are 8 to 10in tall with about 8 nodes.

when cloning a seedling, when is the best time to take cuttings? age, size
I have a few seedlings, 3 strains. 2 strains need to be sexed- sssdh from rez
phd (harlequin x white lotus from redeyed genetics testers) fem- soma g13 x lavender.
I know I want to clone all of my females. all males will be gifted to a friend.
my little ones are about 10 in tall. with about 8 nodes, the lower nodes are almost strong enough to support any topping.
when do I top seedlings?
Is it best to clone the initial cut from the first topping, or wait for most of the new growth to mature, then take a clone?
I would prefer to put minimal stress on the plants. but I also want to speed up the process as much as possible.
about half the seedlings are not ready to clone.
should I wait until all are ready, or clone them as reach a mature size?
all clones will be transferred into a tester tent to be flowered. trying to find the magical phenol.
original seedlings will stay in veg under T5s.
