nicest thing 'bout this 'shed' is that it comes complete with Sara Underwood.

dang! she's so happy that she can hardly contain herself.......

I’d even just like the land it’s on... obviously, being a happily married man I’d have no use for the young lady... although it looks from the firewood in the picture she’s quite handy with an axe...

That is the bees bollocks, as they say. I love it.... if you had that near some log piles , no one would even know it existed

Just about sitting down now... that’s better, I’ve been flat out just lately. Got some dinner in the oven, and baby b is finally asleep.
We’ve had a close family death, and an old friend took a fatal overdose all in the last 2 weeks... then this morning poor mrs b gets rushed into hospital with ovary problems. Lots of pain, didn’t look nice... kids aren’t at school so even more hectic.
She’s home now and out of pain, but has to go back to be scanned.
I was a very worried mr b this morning, I can tell you.

This joint is needed, and by rights should be prescribed!!!

Sorry for your Loss, Mr Brunch ... but life is like that ... it gives and takes ... as I have often pondered while sitting, looking out the door of my shed.

Thank you guys, it really means a lot.... I am making her sleep in today.
Some thoughtful person woke me and little girl at 5:30 this morning by driving around music blaring. So kind.
Trouble is, up early and bed late destroys the weed supply... I should be out trimming, but I been far too busy

I stayed up working all night and now the sun is beyond up and the ladies of the house are conjuring a negative sleep spell on me.

But I do have nuggetry to enjoy, though admittedly less than if I were to have actually rested.

I loathe music blaring from vehicles at any time, but especially in the early morning.

I typically disdain any and all evidence we are slipping in our respect for each other as a whole.

I'm so glad I have herb!!

I feel that... herb saves a lot of arguments with neighbors, that’s for sure

Not sure, though, why some people seem to have to broadcast their conversations so the whole street can hear every detail.... I should imagine the rest of the neighbourhood is as uninterested as me....
surely that’s what Facebook is meant for...

*toke*toke....

I think sometimes we herb consumers have to take care that we are something more than Spectators of Life ... and be aware that our inner, in-the-shed-world, is not the real World.

Personally, I’ve got more than enough real life stuff to keep me on my toes... the shed pit-stops are a blessing, rather than a necessity.

It’s been far too hot today, but I Had a lovely few hours with little miss brunch this afternoon... we took refuge at the bottom of the garden in the shade of a large oak tree with some cold drinks and the trampoline, just laying down and playing ( no bouncing today). After a while when she got bored of that , I gave her my phone with some videos on it while I chilled a bit and looked at the sky- good breeze, perfect.

Her Having autism means that so much of the time we have to keep to routine, explain everything that’s going to happen, and quite often get stuck in repetitive loops of activity , it’s lovely to just be able to relax with her sometimes.
A gem of a moment. I am very lucky.

not when you're dealing with a neighbor like mine, he likes to cut some of my side yard & that's fine, he has my permission, but then he takes it upon himself to continue cutting the right of way (row) grasses (out front), but only near his place, making it look like shit with two different cuts out front. I own the entire row.

Hollered at him again last week for doing it, every time he cuts it, it forces me to call my guy ($$) to cut the remaining row. fyi the 'right of way' is the portion of grasses, brush, trees that exist along the highway, while under some highway dept control I/we pay taxes on them as legally it's our land.

It's nice to let the grasses grow taller to keep down the dust coming off the roadway traffic as it goes by @ 60+mph. I don't want my shyte kept looking like a golf course all of the time.

If it’s cut too short, grass dies pretty quick too... our front garden had grown into long, seeded grasses and flowers- I thought it looked pretty nice, but everyone else seems to think it should be cut so short it could join the army......

Long day today...
It was my father in laws funeral this afternoon, lots of preparations this morning. I shipped little miss brunch off to her aunts... mrs brunch was in pieces for a lot of the service, bless her.
I told him, as the coffin slipped away, “I’ll look after them, don’t worry “ ... he was a diamond of a man, and if I do half the job he did, I’ll be a winner.
Times like this you realise how lucky you are. And just how short life really is.

Everyone is asleep now, so it’s time to burn one in respect....
