I like the way the hung that dart board,
on that glass paneled door, confidence!

i threw darts as a Gold Division player for over 15 years. that is "OVER- confidence"... EVERYONE misses on occasion after the eleventeenth beer/6th shot of bourbon & 4th doobie. those lower side doubles in cricket can be brutal...:tiphat:

I have been looking back over this thread this evening and it’s like a little chest of memories... my little girl was a baby when I started it, and she’s starting proper school in a couple of months... my stepson has left school for college, the Jack Russell is limping a bit- but the shed still remains the same.
A smoky beacon, welcoming all who wish for a little time and a little herb.

Thank you everyone who has been a part of it so far:tiphat:

I'm excited to keep up.

Congratulations on seeing one out of the nest and your girl start proper class.

And kudos to you for having a place to contemplate or disregard as you see fit.

A man has his castle but a genius has a shed!

Thank you kind sir!

I think if I did have a castle, I’d still put a shed out back ...

I’m having a sneaky smoke break while mrs brunch is dying teenager brunches hair for some mad party he’s going to- good luck to him, nice to see him hitting the parties instead of the internet these days. Little lady brunch is getting relaxed before bed, so I must sort things out for her ... routine is so important to an autistic child, as I am learning by the day. Frightening how clever she is already, she’ll be teaching me soon!

Great thread Mr Brunch! I have fond memories of sheds and as an aussie, a back shed is part of the australian dream haha. I don't have my own yet sadly due to difficult economic circumstances but someday I will, of that I am sure :) When I was a teenager a friend had parents who were of the school that if we're going to smoke and drink, we're going to smoke and drink so we might as well do it in the safety of the back shed lol His shed was the hang out spot, so many bongs pulled, (and spilt but on concrete, no matter) so much laughter. I remember downing half a bottle of cheap scotch straight for the first time then laying on the back lawn for hours being sick haha. So many memories. Heres to sheds :smoke out:

Thanks man, I hope your shed comes sooner than expected... we all deserve a little sanctuary and shelter from the elements, it makes getting high that little more special

I was sitting in the garden with my little girl this morning- lovely sunny day, slightly cool breeze, had been up early for a doob and coffee .. kind of day that makes you feel good anyway- and I realised that at that time 25 years ago, I was locked up in jail ( got a year for involvement in a fight-long story) and at that moment I could remember how empty and lost I had felt then... how I couldn’t see an end to it...
and then felt the sheer happiness and freedom of just sitting in the breeze laughing with my child , I couldn’t get the smile off my stupid face for ages.

How life can change.

I just had to share such good vibes.

Yeah. we Aussies need our sheds.

have a good one now ... but out in the bush most of mine have been pole sheds with dirt floors. so for activities like those mentioned above it was under a Wattle tree or on the front verandah (no pissing within 20feet of verandah please).

had my seventieth birthday in my shed. was good.

cheers ...

A place in the bush just happens to be one of my biggest dreams. I'm from Adelaide and even this sleepy backwater of a city is too hectic for me, cant imagine living in Sydney or Melbourne. Always feel at peace out in the country.

Nothing more liberating than emptying your bladder of beer in the garden Teddybrae, but yeah, just not too close to the house or where people walk haha. A good mate of mine (who also was a common feature to be found in the shed of my youth) moved to USA years ago for university. Lives there and is married now. People he partied with in Pennsylvania thought he was a bit feral when we would disappear into the bushes for a piss or to chunder haha.

Thanks for the vibes man, sitting here after my morning coffee and cone as it happens on a cold, crisp but beautifully sunny winters morning. Appreciated.

No worries mate, I really wish it was winter here- I’m not built for the heat and find it hard to cool down. As a result, I am...

... sittin outside my shed. Hiding in the shade, trying to catch any bit of breeze I can. I’m on the iced coffee with a large spliff, kids are safely eating their dinner so I can take a breather.

Hope everyone is well!

nicest thing 'bout this 'shed' is that it comes complete with Sara Underwood.

dang! she's so happy that she can hardly contain herself.......
