Thank you for the kind words, unfortunately she’s still coughing hard... sounds horrible, like a seal noise. I find it impossible to sleep when she’s like this , always listening.

yeah, that's a shed lookin' cabin in the woods, looks like a typical MN mixed forest, but all that flat rock hints @ Vermont to me, those folk look like scavengers of their local environment, living off the land stuff
the 'North Shore' Duluth/Superior area has plenty of palisades type cliffs, maybe flat rock could be found there.......I've got a small forest just like that behind & alongside of my home, a small stoner shed would be nice but I'd need to remove all the jackpine around any structure, they fall too often. When I bought this place there was a rental home (I tore it down) with it, the teenager of the house went into those woods & built himself a little nookie shed w/a tiny cast iron woodstove for heat. I tore that down too.
this is an affordable type of shed/cabin, maybe a ladder up into what's strictly a sleeping loft, I can see doing this affordably.
and here's another simple one you could likely do in your own setting, quiet stoner shed or open for a party
computer won't let me +rep you, but thanks for posting these pix. i'm looking at a big tipi on a raised wooden platform as a "shed". used to be one i found in woods i hunted. we camped in it for YEARS deer-hunting etc until TVA officers found & burned it. very easy to heat, & cool in the summer...

Doctors gave us some big inhaler tube.... try getting that near an autistic child’s face, damn near impossible. Luckily I tried some antihistamines which seem to help.
She was more talkative before bed, so it’s looking up.
Just puffing some 6 month cured widow which is doing the job nicely!

teepee's are awesome, a friend of mine & his wife owned a few acres almost directly behind my property w/a teepee on it, a really nice fire retardant canvas one, 'bout 12 feet in it's center which was open to let out the smoke from small fires. No straight wood in there burning, John would pre-burn his medium sized split/cut in a firepit outside and bring in logs reduced to coals w/a blacksmiths tongs. Hot enough to make 'smores & throw plenty of heat during the cool summer nights, I'd walk home & they'd almost always spend the night.
Deb would send the kids on a firefly hunt & we'd stone out quick in their absence, Deb just passed away last month :crying: I don't know the right words but I've never felt more vulnerable than I have these last few years.
The loss of friends surely accelerates over time, nuts.......

Sorry for your loss, man.... the parting of friends and family is a shock, takes the wind right out of your sails.
I think it’s right to say it doesn’t get any easier, but i have always tried to live a little of my own life in a way that honours those who are sadly absent.
I’m not religious, but I’ll quite often look up to the stars and say ‘this doobs for you man’ or know that my relatives would be proud of my little girl.
Time is short, enjoy it as best you can imo.
So I’m just about to spark up a well deserved fat joint.... sat in shed, some gentle pink floyd and coffee on the go.... family all fed and tucked up so chill time for me.... when the old gut radar kicks in- I hear cars and people coming and going all the time in my road, but I heard a car and something said it’s not right.
Lights out and spliff down, I was hidden by the gate like a nosy ninja... all ears. Then I hear some definite copper sounding voices... sure enough there’s 3 cars and a van out there- cue noisy heartbeat-
Luckily (for me) they were handcuffing some poor drunk guy, apparently for smashing something which he seemed to have no memory of doing. Bit heavy handed , bringing in so many troops for one unsteady man.
Took ages for them to fuck off so I could smoke my spliff in peace.

Cold out here this morning, frosty crisp weather with a little winter sunshine... lovely. I’m looking around the garden and I think I got enough wood for a good bonfire, and I do love me a bonfire.
