Single Plant Grow Box Concept, Please Comment.

Here is a diagram of what I am planning to build in the next few days. It is fairly simple but I would like some experienced growers to comment and/or suggest improvements on this if possible. Also if you notice any major flaws please point them out.

hi dude, so far as I can make out from your drawing, you might have some heat issues in there, correct me if i'm wrong, just learning myself, goodluck.

I think so as well

I think so as well

Thank you for your input! I agree there is a high possibility of heat issues. I plan to run an LED setup with CO2 and from what I have gathered the heat isn't a terrible thing as long as you don't have serious radiating heat like from an HID setup. I don't know, I guess I am going to find out. Plan to start throwing this together tomorrow.

I will post pics.

ive seen on here were floro and led in sealed boxes get hot. you will need to vent heat out not as fast as a hid but there will need to have a fresh cool air exchange or a small ac in the room. i bet you could run a 400 or 600 without co2 and exust it into your attic and you could get more. hid lights are so much better. i will never run anything smaller than 1000watt in flower and 600watt in veg. light=bud size. look up par light on led and hid, the more par light the bigger your buds will get. its like food more you eat fatter you get, you cant get fat without enough food.

Update

Thanks for the input. I have begun construction and will post pictures when finished. I have altered the plans a bit since originally conceptualized but the basic idea remains the same. I plan to have a slow constant ventilation running to outside but on a small scale keeping a slight negative pressure in the chamber to prevent smell leakage and to maintain CO2 levels without constant pumping.

Stay tuned.

Construction of my setup is more or less complete at this point. I have started a new journal thread that I will keep up with. Check it out.
