Hey, im currently modifying my single portable ac and It seems that the ac intake (which is just the smaller lower portion on the back of the ac...i believe. Correct me if im wrong) just needs a source of air. -Cool air being optimal for that but the ac will also pull hot air from outside the room and through the intake. My ac is in a separate room than my grow, there are two rooms next to one another in the house. I Have a duct attached to the top and sealed well, collecting the cold air from the ac and sucking that into the grow in the next room. So instead of venting that modified intake from the outside couldn't I either let the ac just use the hot air in the room that the ac is in and hallway instead of modifying it with a vent from the outside? Id rather not open a window. The exhaust heat from the ac is vented through house venting in the attic. If the ac just needs air and it can be hot i assume( if i vent from the outside and its 90° theres a good chance the growromm would be cooler than that so my questiom is couldnt i hook up the growrooms filtered exhaust to the intake of the ac? The ac needs air from somewhere and if id be using 90-100° air from the outside and my growroom is below that temp wouldnt that be a useful option. It would stop the air from getting sucked elsewhere and i wouldnt have to open a window.
