hopefully the right description for cannabis plants of the female kind with a very large percentage of bud near the central stalk
seen grows and pictures, but not much specific on the genetic background
i did the key word search, not much seen, tribal knowledge maybe?

That's a good description igrowone. I find that Sweet Skunk and SS-dominant plants are pretty good single cola plants. But I've moved toward growing in smaller spaces over the past couple of years and I've found that with trimming you can make most plants grow into a single cola, although some are better for that process than others. Hope that helps.

doesn't hurt, kind of what i found in searches
some seed lines seem to be known for it, but a varied lot
some afghans i think, maybe Lebanese too
i've seen a sativa dominant or 2 that grows single cola oriented
i have something in my grow chamber which looks like a member of this club

It's funny that you mention Afghan lines, as Seedsman's Afghan 1 is one of the plants I've also had success trimming into a single-cola plant depending on the pheno. I F2 practically everything as sometimes I can't keep clones or mother plants, so I have better success with some phenos more than others ie ending up with just a big main bud and a bare stem vs a main bud with a stem that's practically filled with flower down to the dirt.

I also had good luck with a couple of Beanhoarder strains: ISS/Romulan x Blueberry and the God Bud crosses with Blockhead and Nigerian Kandahar (need to trim aggresively, but it fills in nice). Peak Seeds ISS (as mentioned previously) and Skunkberry (need to trim) were good for me, too.
