Since early May but no flowers yet

First time outdoor, Scandinavian climate, and I'm not sure if this is normal but my two plants (indica and sativa) have been outside since early may and haven't been budding yet. The sativa has shown signs of sex, but not the indica, yet.
Some facts:
- totally natural light schedule from the sun
- great garden soil
- haven't used any fertilizers whatsoever
- planted early May
- water comes from the rain I rarely water them myself except when needed

She, sativa, just can't seem to grow any buds! Only some hairs are visible. Will provide pictures for the interested, reply if you are!

Sounds about right. Bagseed? You should look into getting some early strains for next year

Yes pictures please

are there outside light factors involved....
streetlights....
window light
neighbors lights....
any of this even is smallest of amount can prolong the flower process....
as in the plants never get TOTAL darkness....
even soft light from far away can be enough to keep them in Veg....

If something is as bright as the moon at night, your flowers will never come and give you comfort and flight.

I got the seeds from a 5g bag of (unknown strain) weed. Managed to find about three seeds in there, of which only two managed to pop.

Please excuse the high resolution images, but my phone just wouldn't want to focus on the small pistons..

It doesn't get very dark around here. Only a few hours of pitch black. Lately there's been a full-moon the past nights and it's been lighting up our backyard. Other than that, it's all natural lightning, no street lights, no neighbours light or nothing. These could just as well be growing on some mountain in Pakistan for all I'm concerned, since there's nothing artificial near these guys..

The bright nights are what concerns me the most.. and the lack of fertilizers.

But then again, since this setting is all natural, I thought it might give a fine yield because these plants are what they are; all natural organisms.

Thanks for the quick responses.

This is pretty much the expected result from indoor strains in Scandinavia - especially sativas. As Don said get proven northern outdoor genetics.

So you actually suggest I buy some proper seeds for this climate and my outdoor circumstances? Isn't it going to be difficult buying seeds into this country considering its illegal?

Anyhow, is it plausible that my plants will flower and be ready for harvest before the first frost that comes in about one to two months?

Highly unlikely... sorry.

True Sativas can take 3-4 months to flower fully.

Fast indicas can flower in 7-8 weeks but considering you don't even have the start of flowers....

Not to mention that indica still may be a male having not shown sex yet.

Good luck.

I have OutDoor flowers which are just starting. Use this Weblink and tell us exactly how many hours of light you are getting per day. :)

I am getting 13 hours of light per day at 40N Latitude, if you are at 59+ Latitude, you will not bloom for another couple of weeks. You are getting about 14 hours of light right now. Afternoon and morning shade will speed up the flowering process.
