Simple Gelato 41 Question

So I did a search and saw nothing pertinent and most Canna resources, these days, are less useful than trash. Being that a lot of trash can at least be composted.

Anyways... What I want to know most specifically is: how much does she stretch in flower? Say, 1-10 it, with 1 being the PDX Blackberry Bubba cut from around 08 or so, that had zero stretch in flower and 10 being the types of sativas, that never really seem to stop stretching, until close to the end of flower, and 5 being the average, about doubling in height. I'm growing her with other stuff and am trying to figure out what to anticipate, in terms of training her, to keep an evenish canopy.

Any other idiosyncrasies, like, she REALLY needs a foliar of MgSO4 at week 4.5 or some such, I am all ears as well. Thank you in advance.

It seems odd to me that this is apparently such a difficult question to answer. I mean, I can't get away from the damn Cookies iterations. If anything, it kind of underscores how little actual breeding is taking place. We aren't talking nut or fruit trees that might take decades to produce their 1st crop. This is a single season annual, that is pretty dioecious . What excuse is there for never bothering to stabilize or truly perfect anything? I swear watching the rollout of the corporate Cannabis era has been like seeing one of my most cherished books being turned into a dumpster, full of shit, on fire, of a screen adaptation.

Still, a few iterations, like Gelato, have some potential for being more than just strong, overpriced, and tasting good. So I'm trying to make a regular version. I've got this and S1's of 45 by Helvetic seeds (I was getting their EEP too and just like to look at roads less traveled) and 78 from TCC.

I've worked with S1's for producing regular seeds before, and it isn't always as cut and dry, but that is all most of these Cookies crosses really are. No one stabilizes shit. Then they label each variation as a different strain. Its a joke. Its like fetishizing your failings rather than bothering to distill the best from a gene pool and then naming that. So in a way, its almost like naming a ship before it is finished being built.

I got some Lit Farms Ice Cream Cake x Runtz as freebies. Set aside for a moment naming a strain something as moronic as "Hot Tub Time Machine" and the ridiculous prices for their seeds, and lets talk about what they are doing to Cannabis. The seeds I got, were so inept at being pot seeds, that they couldn't even open without my help. One of the two decrepit seedlings survived, but it makes me think of the French Bulldog. A breed of dog, that is inbred enough, that they can't even deliver puppies, in most cases, without a Caesarean section. That, is what Charles Darwin was talking about. When he defined a "monstrosity" in Variations in Plants and Animals Under Domestication. Bringing it back to Cannabis; I cannot help but to feel that we are going almost entirely in the wrong direction.
