Silver dots on leaves

T

Checked my plant yesturday which is now 6 weeks from seed. Unfortunatly its been put outside due to security reasons and i live in the UK so im not expecting much, if anything at all. Upon checking I noticed small silver shiny dots on the leafs. Now i checked it today and where the silver bits were previously, have turned to holes in the leafs. Think i have a bug that likes my plants but as im a newbie im not too sure. Any help would be apreciated.

Definitely going to have some plant damage from pests outdoors. The beauty is that there are many predator insects like spiders too to help out. The best thing to do is manually check your plant all over as much as possible. Use deterrents like weak neem solutions and natural pest deterrents like BT (predator bacteria) to keep them under control, but manually checking for resident pests is the best. If you see some, wipe them off with your fingers often, and as I mentioned get a deterrent that is natural. Best of luck..

Afids/greenfly/blackfly -

They excrete a sugar substance (the shiny dots),, and eat tender plant material (the holes) usually from the undersides!

Remove any afids/greenfly/blackfly you can see by hand!

Simple spray:

x1 cigarette
x1 glove garlic (crushed)
x1 chili (crushed)
x1 drop of fairy liquid :D
x1 bucket of water

Place stuff in a bucket of warm water overnight.
Sieve, and use a spray bottle to spray the liquid onto plants.
Pay attention to the undersides of the leaves.

Hope this helps

if you want to actually harvest bud thats smokeable, I'd make sure you dont get some infestation, plants can still grow under cloudy skies and rainy days.

Just checked again and i also hav 1 that was 2 weeks old from seed. The little buggers have eaten through the stem. Its in half!

Had a look to see what bugs i can see. 1 greenfly (now dead), and about 5 tiny red spiders! And about 5 tiny black spiders running around both pots.
